At RebootX.net, our main focus is providing reliable IT support and related services.
Occasionally, we also supply hardware, accessories, or software as part of our repair or setup services.
This Shipping Policy explains how we handle the delivery of those items.

1. General Information

RebootX.net is a service-based business operated from Radlett, Hertfordshire, UK.
All physical items are dispatched from our local base or directly from trusted UK suppliers (such as TP-Link, PNY, or Amazon UK).
We currently deliver to customers within the United Kingdom only.

2. Delivery Options

Depending on the product and your location, we offer:

  • Standard Delivery (2–5 working days): via Royal Mail or courier service.

  • Express Delivery (1–2 working days): where available, for an additional fee.

  • Local Delivery / On-Site Drop-Off: for clients within 10 miles of Radlett, items may be hand-delivered during an on-site visit.

  • Digital Delivery: for software licences, setup files, or remote configurations — delivered via email or secure link.

3. Shipping Costs

Shipping fees (if applicable) are displayed during checkout.
Most items under service bundles (e.g. routers, SSDs, cables) include free delivery when installed on-site.
Separate product-only orders may incur standard delivery charges between £3.99–£7.99, depending on size and courier.

Large or special-order items (e.g. NAS systems, network switches) may have custom shipping rates confirmed before dispatch.

4. Order Processing

Orders are typically processed within 1–2 working days after payment confirmation.
You’ll receive an email confirmation once your order has shipped, including tracking details if available.
In rare cases (supplier stock issues or courier delays), we’ll contact you immediately to provide an update or alternative option.

5. Collection & Installation

If you have booked a service that includes hardware installation (for example, a Wi-Fi router, mesh system, or SSD upgrade), the item will be delivered and installed by us during your appointment — no shipping required.
Please ensure someone is available at the agreed date and time for handover or setup.

6. Damaged, Missing, or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your delivery upon arrival and contact us within 48 hours if an item is damaged, missing, or incorrect.
We will arrange a replacement, repair, or refund as appropriate once the issue is verified.
Proof of damage (e.g. photos of packaging and item) may be required.

7. Returns for Shipped Items

Physical products can be returned within 14 days of delivery if they are unused, unopened, and in original packaging.
Refunds are processed once items are received and inspected.
Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the item was defective or sent in error.

8. Lost or Delayed Deliveries

While we use reliable UK couriers, delays can occasionally occur.
RebootX.net cannot be held responsible for courier delays beyond our control, but we’ll assist in tracking or replacing lost items promptly.
