RebootX.net — Refund Policy

At RebootX.net, we aim to provide honest, reliable, and professional IT support to every customer.
We understand that sometimes things don’t go as planned, so this policy explains when you can request a refund and how we handle cancellations or disputes.

 

1. Services Covered

This policy applies to all services provided by RebootX.net, including:

  • On-site visits and repairs

  • Remote support sessions

  • Maintenance plans and subscriptions

  • Prepaid services or packages booked via the website

 

2. Refund Eligibility

Because IT support is a service-based activity, refunds are assessed on a case-by-case basis.

You may be eligible for a full or partial refund if:

  • The service could not be completed due to our fault or technical issue on our end.

  • You cancel your booking at least 2 hours before the scheduled start time.

  • You were charged in error or for a duplicated transaction.

  • You subscribed to a monthly plan and cancel within 7 days of initial sign-up without using any included sessions.

Refunds are not available when:

  • The issue could not be resolved due to hardware failure, software corruption, or external factors outside our control.

  • You cancel after the technician has arrived or a remote session has started.

  • You change your mind after the service has been completed.

  • Work was completed successfully and approved by you at the time.

 

3. Process for Requesting a Refund

If you believe you are entitled to a refund, please contact us within 7 days of your appointment or payment date.
Provide your full name, service date, and reason for the request.
We’ll respond within 3 working days and, where appropriate, issue a refund within 5–10 working days using your original payment method.

 

4. Subscription & Plan Refunds

For monthly plans (Silver, Bronze, Gold, or Platinum):

  • Plans can be cancelled anytime, with access continuing until the end of the current billing period.

  • No refunds are issued for unused time once a billing cycle has started.

  • If you cancel within 7 days of sign-up and have not used any included service, a full refund will be issued.

  • If you cancel after using part of your plan, the remaining balance is not refundable.

 

5. On-Site & Remote Services

If a visit or session cannot proceed because of RebootX.net (e.g., sickness, scheduling error, or equipment issue), you can choose either:

  • A rescheduled appointment, or

  • A full refund of the service charge.

If the problem cannot be fully resolved but reasonable effort was made, a partial refund or service credit may be offered at our discretion.

 

6. Digital & Third-Party Products

Any hardware, software licences, or third-party products supplied are covered by the manufacturer’s or supplier’s warranty.
We cannot refund third-party items once opened, installed, or activated.

 

7. Contact & Dispute Resolution

If you are unhappy with how your request was handled, you can escalate the issue by emailing help@rebootx.net with the subject line “Refund Appeal”.
We’ll review your case within 5 working days and aim for a fair outcome.
